WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
1. -
DTC detecting condition: Immediately at fault recognition
Trouble symptom: Fuel lid does not open.
Wiring diagram: Engine Electrical System Ref. to WIRING SYSTEM (CROSSTREK MODEL (HEV))>ENGINE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
CAUTION:
Use the check board when measuring the ECM terminal voltage and resistance. Ref. to ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS) (H4DO (HEV))>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>PREPARATION TOOL>HOW TO USE CHECK BOARD
.
NOTE:
After the faulty parts are repaired or replaced, perform the final check in Basic Diagnostic Procedure. Ref. to ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS) (H4DO (HEV))>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE>PROCEDURE
.
- CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN ECM AND M/B (FUEL FLAP RELAY) (SHORT TO POWER SUPPLY)
.
- Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
- Remove the fuel flap relay.
- Disconnect the ECM connector.
- Measure the voltage between ECM connector and engine ground.
Connector & terminal
(B134) No. 34 - Engine ground:
Is the voltage 1 V or more?
Yes: Repair the short circuit to power supply in the harness between ECM connector and M/B (fuel flap relay) terminal.
No: Go to 2.
- CHECK FUEL FLAP RELAY
.
Check the fuel flap relay. Ref. to SECURITY AND LOCKS>RELAY AND FUSE>INSPECTION>CHECK RELAY .
Is the check result OK?
Yes: Repair the poor contact of ECM connector.
No: Replace the fuel flap relay. Ref. to SECURITY AND LOCKS>RELAY AND FUSE>LOCATION .
