Outline Of Diagnosis

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

Detect for abnormal values in the EGR temperature sensor output properties.

After the engine starts after the specified period of soaking time has elapsed, diagnose by correlation between EGR temperature sensor value, ambient temperature value and intake air temperature sensor value.

Judge as NG when the differences are both above the specified value by comparing between EGR gas temperature and ambient temperature, EGR gas temperature and intake air temperature.
