EGR Pipe: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Temporarily tighten the EGR pipe by using a new O-ring.

  2. Tighten the bolt on the EGR control valve side.

    Tightening torque: 

    T1: 19 N.m (1.9 kgf-m, 14.0 ft-lb)

  3. Tighten the bolts on the intake manifold side in the numerical order shown in the figure.

    Tightening torque: 

    T2: 9 N.m (0.9 kgf-m, 6.6 ft-lb)

  4. Install the electric compressor assembly. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (HEV)>COMPRESSOR>INSTALLATION .
  5. Install the air intake duct. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>AIR INTAKE DUCT>INSTALLATION .
  6. Connect the battery ground terminal. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
