EGR Control Valve: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Drain engine coolant (engine side). Ref. to COOLING (H4DO (HEV))>ENGINE COOLANT>REPLACEMENT>DRAINING OF ENGINE COOLANT>ENGINE SIDE .
  3. Remove the air intake duct. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>AIR INTAKE DUCT>REMOVAL .
  4. Disconnect the connector (A).
  5. Disconnect the preheater hose (B) and preheater hose (C).

  6. Remove the bracket.

  7. Remove the EGR control valve.
