DTC P1622: Fuel Run Out: Notes
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
CAUTION:
- If DTC P1622 is detected, failsafe that stops engine drive may be triggered. In that case, motor drive is performed and SOC is reduced as HV battery is not charged. Note that READY ON is not possible if HV battery runs out due to reduction in SOC.
- If READY ON is not possible due to HV battery depletion, charge HV battery.
- DTC P300000 or P300016 of HV battery may be output due to HV battery depletion. Ref. to P-HEV HIGH VOLTAGE BATTERY (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE WITH DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)>DTC P300000 HYBRID/EV BATTERY DISCHARGE CONTROL MALFUNCTION . Ref. to P-HEV HIGH VOLTAGE BATTERY (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE WITH DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)>DTC P300016 HYBRID/EV BATTERY CONTROL SYSTEM CIRCUIT VOLTAGE BELOW THRESHOLD .
NOTE:
- After the faulty parts are repaired or replaced, perform the final check in Basic Diagnostic Procedure. Ref. to ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS) (H4DO (HEV))>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE>PROCEDURE .
- This DTC may be detected even if fault does not occur in the vehicle. If the customer does not ask for inspection, clear memory instead of inspection and return the vehicle to the user. Ref. to COMMON (DIAG)>CLEAR MEMORY .
- AWD warning light may blink due to lowered fuel level. Ref. to AWD CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATION PATTERN .
- CHECK FUEL LEVEL
.
Check the fuel gauge display.
