When "12V Battery Inspection Required" Is Displayed On The Meter

- CHARGE BATTERY

Charge the battery. Ref. to STARTING/CHARGING SYSTEMS (H4DO (HEV))>BATTERY>CHARGE .
Is the battery charged?
Yes : Go to 2.
No
- Replace the battery with a new part. Ref. to STARTING/CHARGING SYSTEMS (H4DO (HEV))>BATTERY .
- Go to 3.
- CHECK BATTERY

Check the battery. Ref. to STARTING/CHARGING SYSTEMS (H4DO (HEV))>BATTERY>INSPECTION .
Is the battery OK?
Yes : Go to 3.
No
- Replace the battery with a new part. Ref. to STARTING/CHARGING SYSTEMS (H4DO (HEV))>BATTERY .
- Go to 3.
- CHECK WIRING AND TERMINAL (BETWEEN BATTERY (12V) - HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY)

Check the wiring and terminals.
Are the wiring and the contact of the terminal normal?
Yes : System is normal.
Restore the vehicle and repeat IG OFF (for three seconds) ↔ IG ON (for three seconds) three times or more with all the electric load turned OFF. Then confirm that "12V battery inspection required" is not displayed on the meter.
No
- Repair the defective part.
- Repeat IG OFF (for three seconds) ↔ IG ON (for three seconds) three times or more with all the electric load turned OFF. Then confirm that "12V battery inspection required" is not displayed on the meter.
