When "12V Battery Inspection Required" Is Displayed On The Meter

  1. CHARGE BATTERY  .

    Charge the battery. Ref. to STARTING/CHARGING SYSTEMS (H4DO (HEV))>BATTERY>CHARGE .

    Is the battery charged?

    Yes  : Go to  2.

    No 

    1. Replace the battery with a new part. Ref. to STARTING/CHARGING SYSTEMS (H4DO (HEV))>BATTERY .
    2. Go to  3.
  2. CHECK BATTERY  .

    Check the battery. Ref. to STARTING/CHARGING SYSTEMS (H4DO (HEV))>BATTERY>INSPECTION .

    Is the battery OK?

    Yes  : Go to  3.

    No 

    1. Replace the battery with a new part. Ref. to STARTING/CHARGING SYSTEMS (H4DO (HEV))>BATTERY .
    2. Go to  3.
  3. CHECK WIRING AND TERMINAL (BETWEEN BATTERY (12V) - HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY)  .

    Check the wiring and terminals.

    Are the wiring and the contact of the terminal normal?

    Yes  : System is normal.

    Restore the vehicle and repeat IG OFF (for three seconds) ↔ IG ON (for three seconds) three times or more with all the electric load turned OFF. Then confirm that "12V battery inspection required" is not displayed on the meter.

    No 

    1. Repair the defective part.
    2. Repeat IG OFF (for three seconds) ↔ IG ON (for three seconds) three times or more with all the electric load turned OFF. Then confirm that "12V battery inspection required" is not displayed on the meter.
