The Electric vehicle charger cable assembly contains a micro switch that is linked with the unlock button, and the micro switch ON/OFF status is sent by PISW signal (Electric vehicle charger cable assembly engagement check switch signal) to the Electric vehicle charger assembly (charge control ECU). Based on the PISW signal, the Electric vehicle charger assembly (charge control ECU) detects the connection status of the Electric vehicle charger cable assembly. The Electric vehicle charger assembly (charge control ECU) monitors the PISW signal and detects errors.
