Diagnostic procedure:
- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, perform the clear memory of [P-HEV Drive Motor]. Ref. to COMMON (DIAG)>CLEAR MEMORY .
- Turn to IG OFF, and wait for two minutes or more.
- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, read the DTC of [P-HEV Drive Motor] to check that there is no DTC displayed. Ref. to P-HEV DRIVE MOTOR (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .NOTE: If the DTC is displayed on the screen, the trouble is still present. Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. After solving the DTC, repeat from step 1.
- Turn to IG OFF and wait for 6 hours or more.NOTE: Using Subaru Select Monitor, display [Inverter Coolant Temperature] and [Reactor Temperature] in [Data monitor] of [P-HEV Drive Motor] and ensure that the value should not be -10°C (14°F) or less. Ref. to P-HEV DRIVE MOTOR (DIAGNOSTICS)>DATA MONITOR .
- Turn to IG ON, and within 3 seconds, turn to READY ON and then wait for 10 seconds or more.NOTE: Turn to READY ON is available without turning to IG ON.
- Drive for 10 minutes or more with the value of [Inverter Coolant Temperature] 25°C (77°F) or more.
- Read the [Readiness code] of [P-HEV Drive Motor] using Subaru Select Monitor and check that the concerned self-diagnosis is completed. Ref. to P-HEV DRIVE MOTOR (DIAGNOSTICS)>ALL READINESS DIAGNOSTIC CODE(S) .NOTE: If the concerned DTC is displayed, the self-diagnosis of the DTC is not complete, repeat from step 4.
- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, read the DTC of [P-HEV Drive Motor] to check that there is no DTC displayed. Ref. to P-HEV DRIVE MOTOR (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
NOTE:
If the DTC is displayed on the screen, the trouble is still present. Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs.
