Motor generator control ECU sends the stop command to DC/DC Converter via NODD signal line during malfunction, and receives the 12 V charge system normal or abnormal status (Battery (12V) voltage is less than 11 V) signal from the Inverter with converter assembly. If the driver continues to drive while the DC/DC Converter is malfunctioning, Battery (12V) voltage drop occurs and the driver cannot drive any longer. Therefore, Motor generator control ECU monitors the DC/DC Converter operation and warns the driver of malfunction detection.
