DTC P0A00-11: Motor Electronics Coolant Temperature Sensor Circuit Short To Ground: Notes

Detecting condition:

Short to ground of HV coolant temperature sensor

(1 trip detection logic)

Trouble symptom:

Normal driving

NOTE:

When DTC is output, replace Inverter with converter assembly. Ref. to HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE>INVERTER AND CONVERTER ASSEMBLY .
After repair, perform DTC memory clear and judge normal if [Inverter Coolant Water Temperature] of the data monitor is not an abnormal value (110°C or -40°C (230°F or -40°F)) at IG ON.

Indicates 110°C (230°F) when DTC P0A0011 is detected, and -40°C (-40°F) when P0A0015 is detected.
