Inspection When Main Fan And Sub Fan Do Not Stop

1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
2. Remove the sub fan relay. Ref. to COOLING (H4DO (HEV))>RADIATOR FAN RELAY>LOCATION .
3. Perform unit check for the sub fan relay. Ref. to COOLING (H4DO (HEV))>RADIATOR FAN RELAY>INSPECTION .

Is the sub fan relay OK?

Yes  : Go to  2.

No 

1. Replace the sub fan relay.
2. Restore the vehicle to its original state.

1. Connect the battery ground terminal. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
   NOTE: Sub fan relay is removed.
2. Turn to IG ON.
3. Check the radiator fan operation.

Do the sub fan motor and the main fan motor rotate?

Yes 

1. Repair the harness between sub fan relay and sub fan motor.
2. Restore the vehicle to its original state.

No  : Go to  3.

1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
2. Disconnect the ECM connector. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO (HEV))>ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM)>REMOVAL .
3. Check the insulation of harness and chassis ground between sub fan relay - ECM and A/C Control Module.

Are they insulated?

Yes 

1. Replace the ECM. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO (HEV))>ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM) .
2. Restore the vehicle to its original state.

No  : Go to  4.

1. Disconnect the A/C Control Module connector. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (HEV)>CONTROL PANEL>REMOVAL .
2. Check the insulation of harness and chassis ground between sub fan relay - ECM and A/C Control Module.

Are they insulated?

Yes 

1. Replace the A/C Control Module. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (HEV)>CONTROL PANEL .
2. Restore the vehicle to its original state.

No 

1. Repair the harness between sub fan relay - ECM and A/C Control Module.
2. Restore the vehicle to its original state.
