- If the engine coolant splashes, completely remove and clean it.
NOTE:
The SUBARU Super Coolant contains anti-freeze and anti-rust agents, and is especially made for Subaru engines with an aluminium cylinder block. Be sure to use SUBARU Super Coolant, since other coolant may cause corrosion.
Engine coolant:
Refer to "RECOMMENDED MATERIALS" for engine coolant. Ref. to RECOMMENDED MATERIALS .
Engine coolant concentration:
Refer to "ADJUSTMENT" for the recommended engine coolant concentration. Ref. to COOLING (H4DO (HEV))>ENGINE COOLANT>ADJUSTMENT .
- Park the vehicle on a level surface.
- With the engine in a cold condition, check that the engine coolant level of the inverter tank lies between "FULL" and "LOW", and add the engine coolant if the coolant level is low.
NOTE:
If it is necessary to add the coolant, make sure that there are no engine coolant leaks.
