Low Pressure Solenoid Valve

  1. Using the refrigerant recovery system, discharge refrigerant. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (HEV)>REFRIGERANT RECOVERY PROCEDURE>PROCEDURE .
  2. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  3. Remove the bumper face - front. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>FRONT BUMPER>REMOVAL .
  4. Disconnect the pipe - evaporator cooling and hose - pressure suction valve.
    1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the pipe - evaporator cooling and hose - pressure suction valve.
      CAUTION: Seal the engaging parts of the disconnected pipe, hose and LOW solenoid valve with plugs or vinyl tape to prevent foreign matter from entering.

  5. Remove the LOW solenoid valve.
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the bolts and remove the LOW solenoid valve.
      CAUTION: Seal the engaging parts of the disconnected condenser assembly and LOW solenoid valve with plugs or vinyl tape to prevent foreign matter from entering.
