Check Actuator Operation

- Check the actuator operation when battery voltage is applied between the connector terminals.CAUTION: Disconnect the battery immediately after the actuator stops operation. Otherwise, the motor may be damaged.
Terminal No. Inspection conditions Operating position 4 (+) - 5 (-) Apply battery voltage. DEF 5 (+) - 4 (-) FACE - Measure the resistance between connector terminals.

Terminal No. Inspection conditions Standard 1 - 3 Always 4.2 - 7.8 Ω - Connect the connector, turn the ignition switch to ON, and check the voltage between actuator terminals.
Terminal No. Inspection conditions Standard 2 (+) - 1 (-) FACE Approximately 4.5 V DEF Approximately 0.5 V - Replace the motor - actuator mode if it is found defective as a result of inspection.
