High-Pressure Hose

  1. Using the refrigerant recovery system, discharge refrigerant. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (HEV)>REFRIGERANT RECOVERY PROCEDURE>PROCEDURE .
  2. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  3. Remove the collector cover. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>COLLECTOR COVER>REMOVAL .
  4. Move the air intake boot. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>AIR INTAKE BOOT>REMOVAL .
    NOTE: With the PCV hose connected, remove the air intake boot from the air cleaner case (rear) and throttle body.
  5. Remove the bracket - reservoir joint pipe.
    1. Remove the nut and remove the bracket - reservoir joint pipe.

  6. Remove the hose - pressure discharge.
    CAUTION:
    • Do not apply excessive force to the hose.
    • Use plugs or vinyl tape to seal the engaging parts of the disconnected hose, air conditioning unit, and electric compressor assembly to prevent foreign matter from entering.
    1. Remove the bolt and clamp - hose, and disconnect the hose - pressure discharge.

    2. Remove the bolts, and remove the hose - pressure discharge.
