FRESH/RECIRC Door Actuator: Installation

  1. When replacing the link plate with a new part, apply a thin coat of grease evenly to the contact area inside the rail of link plate by using approx. 5 mm (0.2 in) width and approx. 0.1 g (0.004 oz) of grease squeezed out from a tube.
    NOTE: After installing the actuator, perform 3 - 5 times of adaptation for the grease to fit in.

    Preparation items: 

    Genuine part: SUBARU genuine grease (72129AJ000)

  2. Install the motor - actuator intake.
  3. Install the heat pump Control Module. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (HEV)>CONTROL UNIT>INSTALLATION .
  4. Install the pocket assembly and the back panel - pocket. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>GLOVE BOX>INSTALLATION .
  5. Connect the battery ground terminal. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
