Control Panel: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Install the panel assembly - heater.
  2. Install the heater control assembly.
  3. Install the audio assembly or navigation assembly. Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT MONITORING>AUDIO>INSTALLATION .
  4. Install the grille assembly - CTR ventilation.
  5. Connect the battery ground terminal. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  6. When the heater control assembly was replaced with a new part, follow the procedure below to cancel the initialization prohibit state.
    NOTE: When in initialization permit state, the R/F indicator blinks. Because the electric compressor does not operate, temperature settings are disabled until initialization of the expansion valve stepper motor is completed.
    1. Check that all connectors are locked securely.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Turn the fan dial to ON.
    4. Wait for 20 seconds or more, then turn the ignition switch to OFF.
