Interior Condenser

CAUTION:
Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION
.
- Using the refrigerant recovery system, discharge refrigerant. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (HEV)>REFRIGERANT RECOVERY PROCEDURE>PROCEDURE .
- Disconnect the ground terminal from battery and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
- Drain engine coolant. (Engine side) Ref. to COOLING (H4DO (HEV))>ENGINE COOLANT>REPLACEMENT>DRAINING OF ENGINE COOLANT .
- Remove the heater and cooling unit assembly. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (HEV)>HEATER AND COOLING UNIT>REMOVAL .
- Remove the cover - heater pipe.
- Remove the connector clip, and then remove the harness from the harness clamp.
- Remove the screws and detach the cover - heater pipe.
- Remove the cover - evaporator.
- Remove the pipe - condenser.
- Remove the bolt and remove the pipe - condenser.CAUTION: Seal the disconnected pipe and engaging part of condenser with a plug or vinyl tape to prevent foreign matter from entering.
- Remove the bolt and remove the pipe - condenser.
- Remove the internal condenser as shown in the figure.
