Oil Pump: Removal

  1. Remove the transmission assembly from the vehicle. Refer to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580 IMPREZA)>AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY>REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the torque converter assembly. Refer to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580 IMPREZA)>TORQUE CONVERTER ASSEMBLY>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the oil pump chain cover. Refer to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580 IMPREZA)>OIL PUMP CHAIN>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the oil pump and the plate.

  5. Remove the O-rings.
