CVTF Cooler (With Warmer Function): Installation

- Install the CVTF cooler (with warmer feature) to the transmission.
Tightening torque:
23 N.m (2.3 kgf-m, 17.0 ft-lb)
- Install the water hose (inlet).NOTE: With the paint on the water hose (inlet) facing the vehicle outside, install it to the EGR cooler.
- Install the CVTF cooler inlet hose and CVTF cooler outlet hose to transmission.NOTE: Use new CVTF cooler inlet hose and CVTF cooler outlet hose.
- Connect the water hose (outlet).
- Check installation condition of each hose.
- Make sure the hoses do not interfere with each other or with other components.
- Check each hose for bent, excess curve, and twisting conditions.
- Install the purge hose, purge control solenoid valve harness connector and harness clip.
- Install the air intake boot. Refer to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>AIR INTAKE BOOT>INSTALLATION .
- Connect the ground terminal to 12V engine restart battery sensor. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
- Fill engine coolant. Refer to COOLING (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>ENGINE COOLANT>REPLACEMENT .
- Adjust the CVTF level. Refer to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580 IMPREZA)>CVTF>ADJUSTMENT .
