CVTF Cooler (With Warmer Function): Installation

Install the CVTF cooler (with warmer feature) to the transmission.
Tightening torque:

23 N.m (2.3 kgf-m, 17.0 ft-lb)

Install the water hose (inlet).
NOTE: With the paint on the water hose (inlet) facing the vehicle outside, install it to the EGR cooler.

Install the CVTF cooler inlet hose and CVTF cooler outlet hose to transmission.
NOTE: Use new CVTF cooler inlet hose and CVTF cooler outlet hose.

Connect the water hose (outlet).

Check installation condition of each hose.
- Make sure the hoses do not interfere with each other or with other components.
- Check each hose for bent, excess curve, and twisting conditions.

Install the purge hose, purge control solenoid valve harness connector and harness clip.

Install the air intake boot. Refer to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>AIR INTAKE BOOT>INSTALLATION .
Connect the ground terminal to 12V engine restart battery sensor. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
Fill engine coolant. Refer to COOLING (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>ENGINE COOLANT>REPLACEMENT .
Adjust the CVTF level. Refer to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580 IMPREZA)>CVTF>ADJUSTMENT .
