Thermostat (FA20/Transmission AT): Removal

  1. Draining of coolant (SUBARU Super Coolant) (Refer to COOLANT (FA20) )
  2. Removal of intake manifold (Refer to REMOVAL )
  3. Radiator outlet hose disconnection
    1. Move the hose clamp and disconnect the radiator outlet hose.

  4. Water inlet housing removal
    1. Remove the two bolts and remove the water inlet housing.

  5. Thermostat removal
    1. Remove the thermostat.
    2. Remove the gasket from the thermostat.
