Cable ASSY Front Hood: Removal

  1. Removal of front door scuff plate LH (Refer to REMOVAL )
  2. Removal of cowl side trim board LH (Refer to REMOVAL )
  3. Removal of the pull handle ASSY
    1. Remove the bolt and remove the pull handle ASSY
    2. Disconnect the cable ASSY front hood.

  4. Removal of the air cleaner case SUB-ASSY (Refer to REMOVAL )
  5. Removal of the lock ASSY front hood
    1. Remove the 3 bolts, and remove the hood lock ASSY.
    2. Disconnect the cable ASSY front hood.

  6. Removal of the cable ASSY front hood
    1. Using a flat tip screwdriver wrapped in protective tape, release each clamp, and remove the cable ASSY front hood.
