Inspection Mode: Procedure

  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
  2. Turn on the headlight low beam.
  3. Check that the beam axes move when the vehicle condition is kept for three seconds or more after the vehicle posture is changed with the vehicle stopped.
  4. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, read the DTC of [Headlight/Foglight] to check that there is no DTC displayed. Ref. to HEADLIGHT/FOGLIGHT (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
    NOTE: If the DTC is displayed on the screen, the trouble is still present. Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs.
