CVTF Cooler Pipe No. 2 (Model With CVTF Cooler (Air Cool))

  1. Install the CVTF cooler pipe No. 2 to the vehicle.
    CAUTION: Be careful not to bend the pipe front when installing the CVTF cooler pipe No. 2.

    Tightening torque: 

    7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

  2. Install the pipe front to the clip.
  3. Install a new CVTF cooler (air cool) inlet hose and a new CVTF cooler (air cool) outlet hose.
  4. Install the air guide LH.
  5. Install the bumper face front. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>FRONT BUMPER>INSTALLATION .
  6. Install the battery. Ref. to STARTING/CHARGING SYSTEMS (H4DOTC)>BATTERY>INSTALLATION .
  7. Install the engine wiring harness and the battery cable to the bracket.
  8. Install the engine wiring harness to the clip (D), and connect the connector (C).
  9. Connect the connector (A) and connector (B) in numerical order as shown in the figure.

  10. Connect the harness connector to the sensor assembly pressure.
  11. Install a new CVTF CVT inlet hose and a new CVTF CVT outlet hose.
  12. Install the center exhaust pipe (rear). Ref. to EXHAUST (H4DOTC)>CENTER EXHAUST PIPE>INSTALLATION .
  13. Connect the battery ground terminal. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  14. Adjust the CVTF level and check there is no leakage. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR690)>CVTF>ADJUSTMENT .
