Roll Connector: Adjustment
CAUTION:
- Do not rotate the roll connector to more than the specified number of turns. Otherwise, the roll connector internal wire may be broken.
- When determining the end stop, rotate the connector slowly without applying excessive force. Applying excessive force at the end stop may break the internal wire.
- Check that front wheels are positioned in straight ahead direction.
- Be sure to rotate the roll connector counterclockwise until it stops.
- If the connector passes the bottom position when the rotation stops, return the connector to the bottom position.
- Check that the connector is at the bottom position. Then rotate back the roll connector clockwise by approx. 2.5 turns so that the connector is at the top position, and align "Δ" marks.
- Use the following items to check that the spiral cable sub assembly is at the neutral position.
- Connector (a) is at the top position.
- Combination marks (b) are aligned.
- The peak (c) of the U turn section on the flat cable can be seen from the inspection window (d).
