HVAC System (Heater, Ventilator And A/C): Condenser: Installation
CAUTION:
- If the condenser assembly - air conditioner has been replaced, add an appropriate amount of compressor oil. Refer to HVAC SYSTEM (HEATER, VENTILATOR AND A/C)>COMPRESSOR OIL>ADJUSTMENT .
- Replace the O-rings with new parts, and then apply compressor oil.
- Confirm that the lower guide of condenser assembly - air conditioner fits into the holes on radiator panel.
- Install so that the front end of the under cover (b) comes inside the bumper face - front (a), and the front end of the mud guard (c) comes outside the bumper face - front (a).
- Install the condenser assembly - air conditioner.
Tightening torque:
7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
- Install the radiator upper brackets.
Tightening torque:
12 N.m (1.2 kgf-m, 8.9 ft-lb)
- Install the over flow pipe. (STI model)
Tightening torque:
7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
- Install the hose - pressure discharge and the pipe - evaporator cooling.
Tightening torque:
7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
- Install the bracket center lower - front.
Tightening torque:
7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
- Install the under cover - front.
Tightening torque:
18 N.m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.3 ft-lb)
- Lower the vehicle.
- Install the reservoir tank.
- Install the air intake duct.
- Connect the battery ground terminal. Refer to NOTE>NOTE>BATTERY .
- Charge refrigerant. Refer to HVAC SYSTEM (HEATER, VENTILATOR AND A/C)>REFRIGERANT CHARGING PROCEDURE>PROCEDURE .
