EGR Pipe: Installation

- Install the EGR pipe to the intake manifold and EGR control valve.
- Set the EGR pipe to the intake manifold and EGR control valve, and temporarily tighten the bolts which secure the EGR pipe to the intake manifold and EGR control valve.NOTE: Use new gaskets and O-rings.
- Tighten the bolts which secure the EGR pipe to the intake manifold and EGR control valve in numerical order as shown in the figure.
Tightening torque:
19 N.m (1.9 kgf-m, 14.0 ft-lb)
- Set the EGR pipe to the intake manifold and EGR control valve, and temporarily tighten the bolts which secure the EGR pipe to the intake manifold and EGR control valve.
- Install the brake booster vacuum hose to the clip.NOTE: If the clip is removed from the intake manifold, install the clip to the position of alignment mark of intake manifold.
- Install the intercooler. Refer to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (EXCEPT FOR STI)>INTERCOOLER>INSTALLATION .
- Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Refer to NOTE>NOTE>BATTERY .
- Install the collector cover. Refer to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (EXCEPT FOR STI)>COLLECTOR COVER>INSTALLATION .
