DTC B1405: SCU Collation

DTC detecting condition:

Reference code incompatibility between security control module and body integrated unit

CAUTION: When the security control module is replaced, registration of the immobilizer system is required. For details, refer to the "REGISTRATION MANUAL FOR IMMOBILIZER" provided as a separate volume.

CHECK DTC.
Read the DTC of the body integrated unit. Refer to IMMOBILIZER (DIAGNOSTICS)>READ DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .

Is DTC B1406 or B1409 displayed?

Yes: Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTC B1406 or B1409.

No: Go to 2.
PERFORM SECURITY CONTROL MODULE REGISTRATION.
Perform security control module registration. Refer to the "REGISTRATION MANUAL FOR IMMOBILIZER" provided as a separate volume.

Is registration complete?

Yes: Currently, it is normal. (Security control module registration is not complete.)

No: Go to 3.
CHECK DTC.
1. Perform the Clear Memory Mode. Refer to IMMOBILIZER (DIAGNOSTICS)>CLEAR MEMORY MODE .
2. Read the DTC of the body integrated unit. Refer to IMMOBILIZER (DIAGNOSTICS)>READ DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
Is DTC B1406 or B1409 displayed?

Yes: Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTC B1406 or B1409.

No: Replace the security control module. Refer to SECURITY ANDLOCKS>SECURITY CONTROL MODULE .
