Check of manual transmission oil

Park the vehicle on a level road.

Remove the transmission filler plug and the gasket.

Check that oil is filled to the level between 0 and 5 mm {0 to 0.197 in} from the bottom of the transmission filler plug hole.
CAUTION:
- Excess or shortage of oil may lead to trouble.
- When replacing oil, check the oil amount after driving.
If the oil amount is insufficient, check for oil leaks.
Install the transmission filler plug via a new gasket.
Standard value: T=37N.m {377kgf.cm} {27.3ft.lbf}
