Purge Control Solenoid Valve (FA20): Removal

  1. Removal of engine cover SUB-ASSY No. 1 (transmission A/T) (Refer to REMOVAL )
  2. Removal of purge control solenoid valve
    1. While holding the purge control solenoid valve by hand, remove the nut.
    2. Disconnect the connector for the purge control solenoid valve.

    3. Disconnect the vacuum sensor connector. (Transmission A/T)
    4. Disconnect the ventilation hose NO. 2 from the air intake boot. (Transmission A/T)

    5. Disconnect the fuel vapor feed hose No. 1 and fuel vapor feed hose No. 2, and remove the purge control solenoid valve.

    6. Disconnect the joint wire harness connector from the purge control solenoid valve.
