Circuit description

The thermistor ASSY is installed at the front of the condenser. It is used to detect the ambient air temperature, to display the ambient air temperature on the multi display of the combination meter ASSY, and to control "AUTO" of the heater & air conditioner. The resistance of the thermistor ASSY varies along with change of the ambient air temperature. When the ambient air temperature is low, the resistance is high. In contrast, when the ambient air temperature is high, the resistance is small. The combination meter ASSY gives voltage output (5 V) to the thermistor ASSY, and reads variation of voltage along with resistance change of the thermistor ASSY.
