- DTC check
- Record the diagnostic codes.
- Clear diagnostic code
- Do a DTC check again.
- Based on the recorded diagnostic codes, reproduce the trouble phenomenon, and check if the diagnostic codes are output again.NOTE: When the diagnostic codes are output, see the "List of diagnostic codes" (Refer to LIST OF DIAGNOSTIC CODES ).RESULT DESCRIPTION
Result Go to No code, can check and reproduce phenomenon A No code, can't check and reproduce phenomenon B Code is output C - Go to next step
- To fault simulation (Refer to MALFUNCTION SYMPTOMS AND DTC CHECK )
- See inspection step 7
- Based on the recorded diagnostic codes, reproduce the trouble phenomenon, and check if the diagnostic codes are output again.

- Symptom table (Refer to LIST OF DIAGNOSTIC CODES )
- On-vehicle inspection
- Unit inspection
- 7 Adjustment, repair, or replacement
- Confirmation test
