On-vehicle Inspection

  1. Cooling fan motor check
    1. Make sure that the motor rotates smoothly when the battery voltage is applied to the connectors.

    2. Measure the current when the motor is rotating.
      CURRENT VALUE SPECIFICATION

      Inspection terminals Inspection conditions Standard value
      1 - 2 20°C {68°F}, 12 V 7.4 to 11.4 A

  2. Cooling fan motor NO. 2 check
    1. Make sure that the motor rotates smoothly when the battery voltage is applied to the connectors.

    2. Measure the current when the motor is rotating.
