Lower Inner Trim: Removal

CAUTION: Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
  1. Disconnect the ground cable from battery and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Release the clips and claws, and then remove the cover side sill front RR.
    CAUTION: Do not pull with excessive force. Doing so may damage the claws of the cover side sill side sill RR.

  3. Remove the clips, and remove the cover side sill front FR.

  4. Remove the cover bolt rear outside second. Ref. to SEATS>SECOND SEAT>REMOVAL .
  5. Release the clips and claws, and then remove the cover side sill rear UPR.
    CAUTION:

    • Do not pull with excessive force. Doing so may damage the claws of the cover side sill rear UPR.
    • For models with seat heater, disconnect the seat heater connector.
  6. Release the clips, and remove the trim panel assembly B pillar LWR.

  7. Disconnect the claws and remove the cover catcher.

    NOTE: Remove the cover catcher using a plastic remover.
  8. Connect the battery ground terminal. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
