Sunload Sensor (Auto A/C Model): Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to BATTERY
    NOTE: Repair Contents.
  2. Remove the trim panel - front pillar UPR. Ref. to REMOVAL , Upper Inner Trim.
  3. Release the clips and claws, then detach the grille speaker side. Ref. to TWEETER , REMOVAL, Front Speaker.
  4. Remove the sunload sensor.
    1. Release the claws of the grille - front defroster.
      CAUTION:
      • Secure minimum space for performing the operation. Do not remove the grille - front defroster. If the grille - front defroster is removed, it cannot be reinstalled unless the instrument panel is removed.
      • Be careful not to damage the sensor and interior trim.

    2. Release the claws, and then pull out the sunload sensor from the grille - front defroster.
    3. Disconnect the connector and remove the sunload sensor.
