Draining Of Engine Coolant

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Lift up the vehicle.
  2. Remove the under cover. Ref. to REMOVAL , Front Under Cover.
  3. Connect a hose with inner diameter of ø8 mm (0.315 in) to the drain outlet of the radiator.
  4. Loosen the drain plug to drain engine coolant into a container.
    NOTE: Remove the radiator cap so that engine coolant will drain faster.

  5. Tighten the drain plug.
    NOTE: Use new O-rings.
  6. Remove the hose from the drain outlet of the radiator.
  7. Install the under cover. Ref. to INSTALLATION , Front Under Cover.
