DTC P0335: Crankshaft Position Sensor "A" Circuit: Notes

DTC detecting condition:
Immediately at fault recognition
Trouble symptom:
- Engine stalls.
- Failure of engine to start

| 1 CHECK INSTALLATION CONDITION OF CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR. | Is the crankshaft position sensor installation bolt tightened securely? | Go to step 2 | Tighten the crankshaft position sensor installation bolt securely. Ref. to INSTALLATION , Crankshaft Position Sensor. |
2 CHECK CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR.
Terminals No. 1 - No. 2: |
Is the resistance between 1 and 4 kΩ? | Go to step 3 | Replace the crankshaft position sensor. Ref. to CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR |
3 CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN ECM AND CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR CONNECTOR.

Is the resistance less than 1 Ω? | Repair the poor contact of ECM and crankshaft position sensor connector. | Repair the harness and connector.
