DTC P0018: Crankshaft Position - Camshaft Position Correlation Bank 2 Sensor A: Notes

DTC detecting condition:
Detected when two consecutive driving cycles with fault occur.
Trouble symptom:
- Engine stalls.
- Improper idling

| 3 CHECK INSTALLATION CONDITION OF TIMING CHAIN. Using ST and by turning the crankshaft, align the alignment marks of crank sprocket, intake cam sprocket and exhaust cam sprocket. Ref. to TIMING CHAIN ASSEMBLY ST 18252AA000 CRANKSHAFT SOCKET |
Is the timing chain installed in the proper position? | Go to step 4 | Correct the installation condition of timing chain. Ref. to TIMING CHAIN ASSEMBLY |
| 4 CHECK CAM CARRIER FILTER. Check the filter installed to the cam carrier. Ref. to INSPECTION , Cam Carrier. |
