Transfer Clutch: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

Apply CVTF to the seal ring and attach it to the seal ring groove of transfer clutch assembly.
NOTE:
- Use new seal rings.
- When installing the seal rings, do not expand the seal rings too much.

Install the transfer clutch assembly.

Select the thrust needle bearing. Ref. to ADJUSTMENT , Rear Drive Shaft.
Install the selected thrust needle bearing and needle bearing to transfer clutch assembly.
NOTE: Install the thrust needle bearing in the correct direction.

Install the rear drive shaft. Ref. to REAR DRIVE SHAFT
Install the extension case. Ref. to INSTALLATION , Extension Case.
Install the transmission assembly to the vehicle. Ref. to INSTALLATION , Automatic Transmission Assembly.
