DTC P0019: Crankshaft Position - Camshaft Position Correlation Bank 2 Sensor B: Notes

DTC detecting condition:

Detected when two consecutive driving cycles with fault occur.

Trouble symptom:

Engine stalls.
Improper idling

CAUTION: After servicing or replacing faulty parts, perform Clear Memory Mode Ref. to OPERATION , Clear Memory Mode and Inspection Mode Ref. to PROCEDURE , Inspection Mode.

Step	Check	Yes	No
1 CHECK CURRENT DATA. Start the engine and let it idle. Read the values of «Exh. VVT Retard Ang. L» and «Exh. OCV Duty L» using the Subaru Select Monitor. NOTE: For detailed operation procedures, refer to "Current Data Display For Engine". Ref. to SUBARU SELECT MONITOR	Is the value of «Exh. VVT Retard Ang. L» approx. 0 deg, and the value of «Exh. OCV Duty L» approx. 10%?	Perform the following procedures, and clean the oil routing. Replace the engine oil and idle the engine for 5 minutes, and then replace the oil filter and engine oil. Ref. to REPLACEMENT , Engine Oil. Ref. to ENGINE OIL FILTER	Check the following item and repair or replace if necessary. Oil pipe (clog) Oil flow control solenoid valve (clog or dirt of oil routing, setting of spring) Exhaust camshaft (dirt, damage of camshaft) Timing chain (matching of timing mark)
