DTC P0332 Knock/Combustion Vibration Sensor 2 Circuit Low Bank 2: Notes
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
DTC detecting condition:
Immediately at fault recognition
Trouble symptom:
- Driving performance problem
- Knocking is occurred.
CAUTION:
After servicing or replacing faulty parts, perform Clear Memory Mode <Ref. to

, Clear Memory Mode.>, and Inspection Mode <Ref. to
PROCEDURE
, Inspection Mode.>.
Wiring diagram:
Engine Electrical System <Ref. to WIRING DIAGRAM , Engine Electrical System.>
| Step | Check | Yes | No |
|---|---|---|---|
1 CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN ECM AND KNOCK SENSOR CONNECTOR.
Connector & terminal (E158) No. 16 - (E158) No. 34: |
Is the resistance less than 500 kΩ? | Go to step 2. | Go to step 3. |
2 CHECK KNOCK SENSOR.
Terminals No. 1 - No. 2: |
Is the resistance less than 500 kΩ? | Replace the knock sensor. <Ref. to KNOCK SENSOR .> | Repair the short circuit to ground in harness between ECM connector and knock sensor connector.
NOTE:
The harness between both connectors are shielded. Remove the shield and repair the short circuit of harness.
|
3 CHECK INPUT SIGNAL OF ECM.
Connector & terminal (E183) No. 16 (+) - Chassis ground (-): |
Is the voltage 2 V or more? | Even if DTC is detected, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again.
NOTE:
In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.
|
Repair the short circuit to ground in harness between ECM connector and knock sensor connector.
NOTE:
The harness between both connectors are shielded. Remove the shield and repair the short circuit of harness.
