DTC P0507 Idle Control System Rpm - Higher Than Expected: Notes

DTC detecting condition:
Detected when two consecutive driving cycles with fault occur.
Trouble symptom:
Engine keeps running at higher speed than specified idle speed.
CAUTION:
After servicing or replacing faulty parts, perform Clear Memory Ref. to ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS) (H4DO)>Clear Memory Mode>OPERATION
. and Inspection Mode Ref. to ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS) (H4DO)>Inspection Mode>PROCEDURE

- CHECK FOR ANY OTHER DTC ON DISPLAY

Is any other DTC displayed?
- Yes: Check the appropriate DTC using the "List of Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)". Ref. to ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS) (H4DO)>List of Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) .
- No: Go to 2 .
- CHECK AIR INTAKE SYSTEM

- Start and idle the engine.
- Check the following items.
- Loose installation of intake manifold and throttle body
- Cracks of intake manifold gasket and throttle body gasket
- Disconnection of vacuum hoses
Is there any fault in air intake system?
- Yes: Repair air suction and leaks.
- No: Go to 3 .
- CHECK ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL

- Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
- Remove the electronic throttle control. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>Throttle Body>REMOVAL .
- Check the electronic throttle control.
Are foreign matter found inside electronic throttle control?
- Yes: Remove foreign matter from electronic throttle control.
- No: Perform the diagnosis of DTC P2101. Ref. to ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS) (H4DO)>Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)>DTC P2101 THROTTLE ACTUATOR "A" CONTROL MOTOR CIRCUIT RANGE/PERFORMANCE .
