Inspection Without Using Can Diagnostic

Check the battery. Ref. to STARTING/CHARGING SYSTEMS(H4DO)>Battery .

Is the check result OK?

• Yes  : Go to 2. 
• No  : Charge or replace the battery.

Check the fuse which might affect the problem.

Is the check result OK?

• Yes  : Go to 3. 
• No  : Replace the fuse. If the replaced fuse blows out easily, some type of fault is present. Therefore, repair the faulty portion.

Check the harness and harness connector connection which might affect the problem.

Is the check result OK?

• Yes  : Go to 3 in the Basic Diagnostic Procedure. Ref. to LAN SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTICS)>Basic Diagnostic Procedure>PROCEDURE .
• No  : Repair or replace the faulty harness or harness connector.
