Neutral Position Switch: Inspection

Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
Remove the intercooler. < Ref. to REMOVAL , Intercooler. >
Disconnect the transmission harness and chassis harness.

Measure the resistance between neutral position switch terminals. If not within the standard values, replace the neutral position switch.

Gear shift position	Terminal No.	Standard
Neutral position	2 and 5	Less than 1 Ω
Other positions	2 and 5	1 MΩ or more
