Back-up Light Switch: Inspection

Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
Remove the intercooler. < Ref. to REMOVAL , Intercooler. >
Disconnect the transmission harness and chassis harness.

Measure the resistance between the back-up light switch terminals. If it is not within the specification, replace the back-up light switch.

Gear shift position	Terminal No.	Standard
Back position	3 and 6	Less than 1 Ω
Other positions	3 and 6	1 MΩ or more
