All Readiness Diagnostic Code(s): Operation: Notes

NOTE:
- "Readiness code" denotes a self-diagnosis state in relation to DTC in each control module.
The DTCs displayed here are either not yet self-diagnosed or self-diagnosed but not completed. They will disappear once are diagnosed as normal or abnormal.
- When a diagnostic trouble code is set and the problem is addressed, the readiness code is used to check whether the repair has been properly completed.
When Clear Memory Mode is run after the repair, either Inspection Mode < Ref. to INSPECTION MODE .> or the drive cycle < Ref. to DRIVE CYCLE .> is run against the concerned diagnostic trouble code (DTC), then the readiness code is checked. If the DTC is not displayed, the self-diagnosis for the DTC is considered complete.
Following this, the DTC is read. If the concerned DTC is not set as a current malfunction, the repair is considered complete.

- Sometimes after the self-diagnosis is complete and the readiness code disappears, cycling the ignition switch OFF then ON may cause the readiness code reappear. This happens because the self-diagnosis for each DTC is run every time the ignition switch is turned ON.
