LONGITUDINAL G SENSOR & LATERAL G SENSOR 0 POINT SETTING MODE (MODEL WITH EyeSight)
After installing or replacing the following part, perform the longitudinal G sensor & lateral G sensor 0 point setting mode.
- Suspension parts
- VDCCM&H/U
- VDCCM&H/U bracket
- Park the vehicle on a level surface with all wheels aligned straight.
- Perform the VDC sensor 0 point setting mode.
- Connect the Subaru Select Monitor to data link connector.NOTE: For detailed operation procedures, refer to "Application help".
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- On «Start» display, select «Diagnosis».
- On «Vehicle selection» display, input the target vehicle information and select «Confirmed».
- On «Main Menu» display, select «Each System».
- On «Select System» display, select «Brake Control System» and select «Enter».
- On «Select Function» display, select «Data Monitor».
- From the «Data monitor» display, select «Longitudinal G Sensor» and «Lateral G sensor Output».
- Check that output values for the longitudinal G sensor and lateral G sensor are -2 - 2 m/s2 .
- On «Select Function» display, select «Work Support».
- From «Work Support», select «Longitudinal G sensor & lateral G sensor 0 point setting mode», and perform the setting according to the procedure displayed on the Subaru Select Monitor Screen.
- Connect the Subaru Select Monitor to data link connector.
- Drive the vehicle for 10 minutes, and check that there is no system malfunction or the warning light illumination while driving.
- Make sure that the DTC is not stored.
