This diagnostic code indicates "stuck OFF" of the transmission 3 way solenoid ASSY (S4), "stuck ON" of the clutch control solenoid No. 1 (SL2), or a defect of the brake control valve. TCM switches ON/OFF of the shift solenoid valve to command shifting. If the gear position commanded by TCM is different from the actual gear position, TCM turns on MIL and records the diagnostic code.
