Inspection steps

NOTE:
Read the freeze frame data using the SSM3. A part of the engine running conditions under which the engine trouble occurred is recorded in the freeze frame data, which is useful for troubleshooting.
- Transmission wire unit check (oil temperature sensor)
- Disconnect the connector A18 of the transmission control computer ASSY.
- Measure the resistance between the terminals.
Resistance
Inspection terminals Inspection conditions Standard value A18-22 (OIL) - A18-23 (EOIL) Always 79 to 156 kΩ - Connect the connector A18 of the transmission control computer ASSY.
NG: Go to Step 3.
OK: Go to next step
- Replacement of transmission control computer ASSY
- Replace the transmission control computer ASSY. (Refer to TRANSMISSION CONTROL COMPUTER ASSY
)

AT unit correction (refer to INSPECTION FOR PROBLEMS THAT DO NOT NORMALLY OCCUR )

- Check wiring harness and connector (transmission wire - transmission control computer ASSY)NOTE: Refer to INSPECTION PROCEDURES FOR ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS AND HOW TO PERFORM for checking procedure and precautions of wiring harness and connector
- Disconnect the connector L4 of the transmission wire.
- Disconnect the connector A18 of the transmission control computer ASSY.
- Measure the voltage between the terminals. (ECM TERMINAL ARRANGEMENT
