Inspection steps

CAUTION:
Before performing troubleshooting, check the fuse for this circuit.
- Perform a unit inspection of neutral start switch ASSY
- Disconnect the connector A19 of the transmission control computer ASSY.
- Measure the resistance between the terminals.

NG: Go to Step 4.
OK: Go to next step
- Check of neutral start switch ASSY (power supply voltage)
- Disconnect the connector L2 of the neutral start switch ASSY.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Measure the voltage between the terminals.

NG: Repair or replacement of wiring harness or connector (power supply system)
OK: Go to next step
- Replacement of transmission control computer ASSY
- Replace the transmission control computer ASSY. (Refer to TRANSMISSION CONTROL COMPUTER ASSY
)
Next
AT unit correction (refer to INSPECTION FOR PROBLEMS THAT DO NOT NORMALLY OCCUR )
- Replace the transmission control computer ASSY. (Refer to TRANSMISSION CONTROL COMPUTER ASSY
)
- Check wiring harness and connector (neutral start switch ASSY - transmission control computer)NOTE: Refer to INSPECTION PROCEDURES FOR ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS AND HOW TO PERFORM for checking procedure and precautions of wiring harness and connector
- Disconnect the connector A19 of the transmission control computer ASSY.
- Disconnect the connector L2 of the neutral start switch ASSY.
- Measure the resistance between the terminals. (Refer to ECM TERMINAL ARRANGEMENT
